Young Engineering Geologists Event
The International Association for Engineering Geology and the Environment invites all members under 40 years of age to attend the ARC-11 Young Engineering Geologists event in Kathmandu on the 27th of November 2017.
The event will take place on the afternoon of the pre-conference excursion, and will include short technical talks, a question-answer session with an expert panel, refreshments and an ice-breaker evening. All young members are welcome to attend regardless of participation. The event is free, but numbers are limited. Please register your attendance as soon as possible, and no later than the 29th of September. To register please email your completed form to email@example.com.
If you wish to participate by giving a technical presentation, please submit your abstract by the 25th of August. Abstracts should be submitted using the provided registration form, and emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. A prize will be awarded for the best technical talk!
There is no specific theme for technical talks, but should be related to IAEG interests. Submitted abstracts should be no more than 350 words.
Note: If you wish to attend the pre-conference excursion there will be a tour bus ready to deliver you back to the YEG event venue after the excursion lunch.
