Founded in 1980, Nepal Geological Society (NGS) is a professional geoscientific organization with over 800 members and nearly one-third of them are international scientists. The Society is the National Group Member of International Association for Engineering Geology and the Environment (IAEG) and was a member of Nepal National Committee on International Decade for Natural Disaster Reduction (IDNDR) to led the IDNDR activities in Nepal for a decade. The Society was honored with: the 1998 United Nations Sasakawa Disaster Prevention Award Certificate of Merit in appreciation for its contribution to disaster prevention, mitigation and preparedness and Science and Technology Promotion Award from Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) in recognition of its contribution in the research and promotion of Geoscience.
Urgent Request to all participants:
On-site registration fee payment is possible on November 26 and November 27. The counter will open at 8 AM and close at 6 PM at the Atrium of Hotel Yak and Yeti. We request all Nepalese participants also to register within these days. Those who have already paid, can also visit the registration desk and collect conference kit. We are going to have a huge number of participants and collecting conference kit on November 28th, may cause delay to attain the conference. We are looking forward to your kind support!

All interested participants are requested to fill the registration form. For registration, if you wish to participate with a presentation, please prepare abstract as per the template provided. For abstract, MsWord template is available here. Each participant can submit maximum two presentations in the ARC-11. Abstracts of only those authors or presenters who have already paid their registration fee within the deadline will be published in the abstract volume of the Journal of Nepal Geological Society, which will be distributed to all the registered participants during the conference.
Full paper submission deadline is 2018, January 31. Full papers will be published in the Journal of Nepal Geological Society after peer review process and will be available on 1 April 2018.
